Khoee: A traditional dress of men in Gilgit Baltistan:


                                                                                                                                                            Cap, Hat, Topi, Kohee:The most important component of the dress code of Gilgit-Baltistan traditional costumes. It is a hand woven woolen stuffed cap. Gilgit Baltistani’s use to wear it throughout the year.They consider it as a matter of pride to wear it. The plume over it adds elegance and grace which is placed usually on special occasions like weddings, birthdays, and other cultural festivities. It is known as “Pharati Khoe” which locally means the cap with its rims folded in or rolled up. It is produced in Wood pulp light brown, Whilte, and Black colors.
